The Scouting family provides an excellent opportunity for young people, male or female, to take place in a successful scouting experience based upon fun, games, challenges and outdoor activities.

Though fun and adventure, young people gain character, employability and practical skills.

Scouting encourages young people to never give up, face their fears, take the initiative, work as a team and prepares them by delivering the skills needed to succeed.

The 1st Romford Scout Group are affiliated with St Edwards Church but we actively encourage and welcome girls and boys from all backgrounds.

   Are you between the ages of 6 - 11?

   Then come along to the 1st Romford Scout Group for some fun and adventure.

   Earn activity and challenge badges, go camping, learn lots of new skills and make new friends.

We are situated in Brownsea Hall off Knighton Road (map).

Our group scout leader is Michael Hayes.
Our leaders would also welcome new adult volunteers to join our scouting team.
